This webinar is designed for microscope operators wishing to use tomography acquisition in DigitalMicrograph.
It will provide a detailed explanation of how to setup and launch an automated tilt series acquisition, along with techniques for improving data quality. This description will cover issues related to microscope setup, microscope calibration, tomography specific setup and tomography operation.
Familiarity with TEM microscope operation and DigitalMicrograph are suggested but not required. There will be a short question and answer period following the seminar.
About the Presenter:
Christopher Booth earned his Ph.D. in Structural Biology with Dr. Wah Chiu at the Baylor College Of Medicine where he focused on automated electron microscopy of frozen hydrated biological specimens. Since then his work at Gatan has focused on developing tomography related software, including automated tilt series acquisition (TEM, EFTEM and STEM), tilt series reconstruction and 3D Visualization for DigitalMicrograph.
