More people are replacing conventional film with newer CCD cameras created specifically for TEM applications.  Along with this progression towards CCD camera use on TEMs comes the need to fully understand all of the parameters that can affect the final image quality.  One of these parameters, gain normalization, is a common procedure used to correct for any artificial defects from the CCD camera and can greatly improve the image quality.

In this webinar we will demonstrate when gain correction is necessary, the proper procedure for implementing gain correction, and what factors influence gain reference deterioration.
